Gender equality as core aspect of the mission statement and leadership culture at the LIR
The comprehensive equality of women and men is a core aspect of the mission statement and management culture for the DRZ and LIR as its legal successor. Following the guidelines of the Joint Science Conference (GWK), it is a formal self-commitment with regard to the promotion of women in science and equal opportunities for men and women in non-university research. The DRZ/LIR Equality Plan was developed on the basis of this agreement. With this plan we implement the framework recommendations of the Leibniz Association and the research-oriented equality standards. The Equality Plan, which is prepared every four years by the institute management, was published for the first time in 2018 for the years 2018-2021. It is a basis for sustainable, innovative and goal-oriented strategies for gender equality at workplaces.
