Information on the handling of your data

Confidentiality

As a matter of principle, we treat your data confidentially and do not pass them on to third parties. If, in our opinion, it becomes necessary to provide third parties with personal information in order to fulfill a legal obligation or to further clarify the incident you have reported, we will contact you beforehand.

Voluntariness

Information about yourself as a whistleblower is voluntary. However, disclosing your identity or, if applicable, contact details will improve communication between you and the confidential counsels and thus speed up the procedure for clarifying the whistleblowing.

Consent and purpose of data processing

If you nevertheless provide information about yourself, by submitting the tip you consent to us processing data about you, for the purpose of clarifying the tip or for contacting you. This means that your data will be stored in the internal whistleblower system. You can revoke your consent at any time for the future, this takes effect upon receipt of the revocation.
