The State of Rhineland-Palatinate supports the resilience of students

Many students in Rhineland-Palatinate are experiencing significant psychological stress. In response to this challenge, the Ministry of Science and Health, in collaboration with the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research (LIR), has initiated the project "Healthy Studying in Rhineland-Palatinate"

The primary objective of this project is to offer resilience support measures to students in Rhineland-Palatinate, facilitating their ability to cope with stressful life events and academic pressures during their studies, ultimately mit the aim of preventing psychological distress

To achieve this goal, the LIR is implementing a range of resilience support measures in this pilot project, including large group formats in person, online platforms, and individual coaching. Simultaneously, the institute is conducting research to identify which measures are particularly effective for addressing the specific circumstances and needs of students

In collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Health, the LIR is pleased to contribute to the maintenance of students' mental health in Rhineland-Palatinate, aiming to reduce long-term mental stress among students
